The Foxes winger has struggled for game time this season and will play at Turkish Super Lig outfit Sivasspor for the remainder of 2018-19.

Leicester City have confirmed that winger Fousseni Diabate has joined Turkish Super Lig outfit Sivasspor on loan for the remainder of the 2018-19 campaign.

The Mali international joined the 2015-16 Premier League champions in January 2018 from French Ligue 2 side Gazelec Ajaccio.

Diabate’s Foxes career got off to the best possible start as he scored a brace on his debut in the fourth round of the FA Cup last season, when Leicester beat Peterborough 5-1.

However, the 23-year-old – valued by Transfermarkt at 2.7million Euro (around £3million) – has struggled for first-team action this season, with just one Premier League appearance under his belt.

Indeed, Diabate has only made the Leicester senior bench on two occasions in the league this term, while the rest of the time he didn’t make the matchday squad, while he featured just three times more in cup competitions.

Meanwhile, Sivasspor finished seventh in the Turkish Super Lig last term and are now pushing for European qualification going into the second half of the campaign, so they will be eager for the Foxes man to give them a boost in the pursuit of this goal.
