Leicester City’s move for Adrien Silva is at risk of falling through.

Leicester City fans are hoping common sense prevails and Adrien Silva is permitted to complete his move to Leicester City.
The Foxes ‘signed’ Silva from Sporting Clube de Portugal on deadline day but left it until the last minute and have been waiting anxiously for it to be approved.
SkySports now report FIFA received the paperwork late for the transfer… by just 14 seconds.

It is claimed the transfer ‘remains in question’, with no firm decision yet made either way.
The worst case scenarios for Leicester now are that the transfer falls through altogether or they must wait until January to complete the deal.
A club spokesperson said: ‘We are working with Adrien and Sporting Clube de Portugal to overcome some issues relating to the player’s registration and exploring all options to find a resolution.’

Leicester made a move for Silva after selling Danny Drinkwater to Chelsea, a deal which was also completed on deadline day.
Silva is a Portugal international and former teammate of Foxes striker Islam Slimani.
