Adrien Silva made his long awaited debut for Leicester City.

Leicester City fans got the New Year gift they wanted, a chance to finally see Adrien Silva in a blue shirt.
The Foxes signed Silva in the summer from Sporting Clube de Portugal, but completed his registration just 14 seconds too late for the transfer deadline.
FIFA refused to budge from their stance and Silva has been left kicking his heels for months.

Yesterday he made his long awaited debut, coming on as a substitute in Leicester’s 3-0 victory over Huddersfield Town.
Silva came on for the final five minutes of the win, completing all eight of his passes.
The 28-year-old is a Portugal international, has Champions League experience too, and should now go onto become a key part of Leicester’s side.
Foxes fans may only have caught a brief glimpse of him, but they were impressed by what they saw of the midfielder.
