Leicester City are ready to sell Ayoze Perez this summer after he missed out on a return to Newcastle United in the January window.
That’s according to the Daily Mail, who claim that Leicester are ready to axe a number of players this summer.
Hamza Choudhury and loaned-out Dennis Praet aren’t particularly surprising names on the Leicester clearcut list.
Defender Caglar Soyuncu is even on the chopping block and it’s suggested that Leicester will listen to offers for Perez.
Leicester seemingly want to raise funds for new signings with Brendan Rodgers needing reinforcements following a disappointing season.

Perez, 28, joined Leicester from Newcastle in the summer of 2019. Leicester paid £30million to prise him away from Magpies.
Perez has now turned out 98 times for Leicester but has only bagged 12 goals. Three of them came in one game against Southampton in 2019.
The Spaniard is without a single Premier League goal this season but has contributed three assists.
Rodgers has only given Perez 402 minutes of Premier League action this season and his time at Leicester is surely coming to an end.
Leicester are unlikely to recoup that £30million they paid to Newcastle for Perez, but his sale should aid the transfer budget nonetheless.
Could Perez return to Newcastle?
One interesting prospect is the idea of Perez returning to Newcastle this summer.
The Chronicle claim that Perez was open to a Newcastle return back in January but no deal materialised.
Perez became a fan favourite at Newcastle before his exit three years ago.
With just one year left on his Leicester contract, Perez may end up going for around half of that £30million fee.
That could appeal to Newcastle as they eye big signings under PIF, but the ship may have sailed.
Perez will soon be approaching his 30’s and has barely made an impact in the Premier League this season.
Newcastle want to spend their money wisely and, take emotion out of it, a deal for Perez may not be wise anymore.
