Leeds United’s last 0-0 draw came against Middlesbrough in February 2016, but just six of the 14 players that featured remain in the current first-team.

Leeds secured their first goalless draw since February 2016 when their game with Queens Park Rangers on Saturday ended in a stalemate. Despite the previous 0-0 being just 13 months ago, just six of the 14 players that featured against Middlesbrough remain around the current first-team.

So what has become of all of the Whites players who featured against Boro? Here is a look…

Marco Silvestri

Marco Silvestri remains with Leeds, but has had to settle for playing in the cups with Rob Green getting the nod in the Championship this term.

Scott Wootton

Scott Wootton, fairly or unfairly, was the scapegoat at Elland Road last season, so unsurprisingly, left in the summer. He moved to MK Dons, where he played and scored once in the league before suffering a long-term injury.

Giuseppe Bellusci

Giuseppe Bellusci remains on Leeds’ books but it seems doubtful whether he’ll play for the club again. He’s currently on loan at Empoli while the Whites boast their best centre-back pairing for years. He did, of course, help Leeds keep a clean sheet against Boro in February 2016 though.

Liam Cooper

Liam Cooper has struggled for game-time this term with Kyle Bartley and Pontus Jansson performing so well.

Charlie Taylor

Charlie Taylor remains at Elland Road, but with his contract expiring this summer, it seems his days as a Leeds player may be numbered.

Stuart Dallas

Stuart Dallas is yet to recapture the form he showed in his first season at Leeds, where he was arguably one of the club’s brightest players.

Toumani Diagouraga

Toumani Diagouraga has not played for Leeds since the opening day of this season and is currently on loan at Ipswich. Again, it seems doubtful whether he will play for Garry Monk again.

Liam Bridcutt

Liam Bridcutt has since joined Leeds permanently and been awarded the captaincy. Injury meant that his season took a while to get going this time around.

Lewis Cook

Lewis Cook secured the Premier League move last summer that many expected to happen. Unfortunately for the academy graduate, his time with Bournemouth has been hampered by injury.

Souleymane Doukara

Souleymane Doukara has enjoyed his best season for Leeds this term, having looked much more promising in a wider role than he had previously done as a striker.

Mirco Antenucci

Mirco Antenucci left the Whites at the end of last season after a decent spell. He is now playing for Serie B side SPAL, where he boasts a record of 11 league goals in 25 games.

Substitutes

Alex Mowatt

Despite once being considered to be the next big thing to come out of the academy, Alex Mowatt’s Leeds career stagnated in his last couple of years with the club. He moved to Barnsley in January, but is yet to make a positive impact at Oakwell.

Lee Erwin

Lee Erwin is another loanee that looks to be facing a massive task trying to get back into the first-team when he returns to Leeds. The forward has not scored for the Whites and his time at League One side Oldham has not captured the imagination.

Luke Murphy

Of all of the loanees, Luke Murphy possibly the best chance of making an impact at Elland Road upon his return. He is currently playing for Championship rivals Burton, and has looked bright with the Brewers.
