Some Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation that Leeds United are interested in signing William Saliba in the summer transfer window.
According to Le10 Sport, Leeds are interested in signing Saliba on loan from Premier League rivals Arsenal before the summer transfer window closes this month (click here to read more on HITC Sport).
The Gunners themselves are open to sending the 19-year-old out on loan for this season, with manager Mikel Arteta having a number of centre-backs in his squad, according to the report, which has claimed that Fulham are also looking at the France Under-20 international.
Leeds signed Robin Koch in the summer transfer window, and the Germany international central defender will play alongside Liam Cooper as the first-choice centre-back pairing this season.
However, the Whites could do with another centre-back, and Saliba on loan would make sense.
For the player himself, working with someone like Marcelo Bielsa would make him a better footballer, and given that Leeds play out from the back, he would return to Arsenal next summer a better player.
Some Arsenal fans like the idea of Saliba moving to Leeds on loan for this season, as the following comments on Twitter suggest.
