Leeds United were this week linked with a summer move for Rangers star Martyn Waghorn by The Mail.
The striker has netted 43 goals across two seasons in Scotland, and is in the best form of his career.
Leeds are considering him as a back-up or even a partner for prolific striker Chris Wood, and it is a pairing which has history.
Both players featured in the same Leicester City side, with their careers crossing paths in the 2013/14 season.

Leicester were spoiled for choice with forwards at this time, with David Nugent and Jamie Vardy among the options also available to the Foxes.
Arguably the highlight of Wood and Waghorn’s time playing together came when they combined as Leicester hammered Leeds’ rivals Huddersfield Town 6-1 in early 2013.
It was Wood’s debut match, and he scored a brace to mark his opening game for the club, and went on to set up a goal for Waghorn by cushioning a header into his path.
Wood’s arrival though pushed Waghorn further down the pecking order, and their chances to play together were limited due to the competition for places, with none other than Harry Kane even brought in on loan from Tottenham by the Foxes.
At Leeds it would be different for the Rangers ace, with Wood pretty much Waghorn’s only viable competition, with Marcus Antonsson’s future at the club looking bleaker by the day.
