Leeds winger Hadi Sacko hopes he is okay but can’t say for sure.

Leeds United winger Hadi Sacko has offered a cautious injury update after being withdrawn early against Rotherham United.

Sacko was taken off at half-time and replaced with Ronaldo Vieira in the game which Leeds went on to win 3-0.

Sporting Lisbon loanee Sacko commented after the fixture via Twitter, insisting he hopes he is okay, but was unable to offer a definitive outlook.

Sacko sounds hopeful but could end up on the sidelines for Leeds’ upcoming FA Cup fixture against Cambridge United if Garry Monk wishes to be cautious.

The 22-year-old has been impressive for Leeds since signing in the summer, despite his shortcomings in the final third occasionally preventing his game really moving to the next level.

His pace and trickery has proved dangerous for opponents repeatedly and Leeds will not want to be without him for an extended period.

The club are short of depth out wide and a more substantial injury to Sacko would surely affect their transfer plans.
