Two in-form Championship clubs are set to clash in front of a full house at Elland Road – here is how to catch the action.
Dwight Gayle celebrates after he scored for Newcastle
When the Championship fixtures were announced in the summer, Leeds United taking on Newcastle United at Elland Road was always going to be one of the most eye-catching encounters.
Two one-club cities backed by loyal and passionate supporters meet each other in a division in which neither club feels it belongs, with both looking for a return to the top tier.
This clash is particularly intriguing given the recent form of both sides; the hosts’ dramatic late win at Norwich was their third win in a row and lifted them into the play-off places, while Newcastle have won eight consecutive matches in all competitions.
The Key Battle – Pontus Jansson vs Aleksandar Mitrovic
Mitrovic has been in fine form of late, netting five times in his last four matches including the leveller for Serbia in Cardiff last weekend, yet he is not guaranteed a start at Elland Road with top scorer Dwight Gayle also fit.
Whoever Rafael Benitez selects up front will have a tough afternoon against Jansson, who has endeared himself to the Leeds faithful through a combination of consistently excellent defensive displays and a seemingly genuine passion for the club.

Last Meeting:
The most recent battle between these two sides came in September 2013, when goals from Papiss Cisse and Yoan Gouffran saw Newcastle ease to a routine 2-0 win in the League Cup.
The two clubs have not met in a league fixture since 2004, and this is the first time they have clashed in the second tier since 1989.
