Leeds United forward Tyler Roberts came off the bench as Wales recorded a 1-1 draw against Croatia in their Euro 2020 qualifier.

Leeds United forward Tyler Roberts has urged Wales to ‘keep on fighting’ after they recorded a 1-1 draw against Croatia in their Euro 2020 qualifier on Sunday evening.
It was a fiesty encounter in Cardiff, with Ryan Giggs bringing on Roberts towards the end of the game, as he was hoping the Leeds man could secure all three points for his team.
In the end, he didn’t have much time to make an impact, with Gareth Bale’s goal on the stroke of half-time cancelling out Nikola Vlasic’s opener in what was a hotly-contested affair.
After the game, Roberts sent this message to supporters from his personal Instagram account, as he praised those for the ‘amazing atmosphere’ they created on the night.

Roberts isn’t 100% fit, at this moment in time because he recently returned from injury and he will need more game time in order to get that sharpness back into his game.
Wales’ chances of qualifying for the next Euro’s is on the knife-edge and a player like Roberts could potentially be the difference-maker.
The next set of international fixtures is set to drop next month and by then Roberts will be hoping he will have more minutes under his belt at club level, which will bode well for his national side.
Nonetheless, Roberts will now turn his attention back to club football, with Leeds taking on Birmingham City at the weekend, as Marcelo Bielsa’s side aim to move back into the top-two Championship places.
