Denton only joined Posh from Leeds last week, but the left-back has wasted no time showing his new club what he can do.
Denton scored with a wonderful volley on debut, and he finished well again yesterday.
The Leeds youngster seems to be leading the race to take Steve Evans’ side left-back berth next term, ahead of Colin Daniel, now.
There was actually some suggestions from Leeds supporters that they should have kept Denton around, but playing regular football with Posh could aid his development.
Andrew Hughes’ departure at Peterborough has meant that there is a clear route into Evans’ first-team available for Denton.
Leeds loaned out Denton to Port Vale last term, but his time in Stoke was cut short due to personal reasons.
