No doubt to the relief of Leeds United head coach Garry Monk, the Whites recorded their first win of the season at the weekend.
Leeds beat rivals Sheffield Wednesday 2-0 away from home, with strikers Chris Wood and Marcus Antonsson finding the net.
What made the win even more noteworthy and impressive was the fact it was done so without the two summer signings which excited fans most ahead of the campaign.

Both Kemar Roofe and Pablo Hernandez, signed permanently and on loan respectively, were left on the bench.
It was a brave decision from Monk to do so, but also a wise one given their displays in the preceding matches.
Both players have some adjusting to do to the Championship and their new teammates, with Hernandez playing last season in La Liga, and Roofe in League Two.
The duo are also attacking players who can play in different roles, but they are also yet to find their best position in Leeds United’s XI.
It may well be that Leeds find it difficult to fit both into the same team, especially with Alex Mowatt to accommodate, but the side actually looked better without the pair of them on Saturday.
This should serve as a reminder to both players they need to step it up, and while it is certain they will have important roles to play this coming campaign, nothing should be taken for granted, and Garry Monk needs to work out a way to get the best out of them.
