HITC Sport takes a look at some of the best kits that Leeds United have worn since 1992.
With Christmas being a time of giving, many Leeds United fans will be hoping that they receive one of the Whites’ latest kits ready for the second half of the campaign. But what have been the best kits the club have worn since the start of the Premier League era in 1992?
Here is HITC Sport’s top 10…
10. Away 2010-11 (Third kit 2011-12)

While it can be a gamble for Leeds to bring out an all blue kit – given some of the rivalries that the club enjoy – this kit offered a nice change after several years of yellow away strips. The fact that Simon Grayson’s men came so close to reaching the play-offs in their first campaign back in the Championship means that it will probably be remembered fondly, especially for rest of the time that the club spend in the second tier.
9. Away 2009-10 (Third kit 2010-11)

One of the smartest away kits that Leeds have had came during their promotion-winning season in 2010. Its most famous outing perhaps came at White Hart Lane when League One Leeds held Tottenham to a 2-2 draw in the FA Cup.
8. Home 1998-2000

This kit will perhaps be remembered so fondly as it was the strip worn when David O’Leary’s side flirted with climbing to the Premier League’s summit around the Millennium.
7. Home 2000-02

While the previous entry came at a time when Leeds nearly climbed the domestic mountain, it was while wearing this simple strip that the Whites came within a couple of games of Champions League glory. The kit was worn in games against the likes of Barcelona, AC Milan and Real Madrid.
6. Home 2009-10

The shirt Leeds wore for the majority of the promotion-winning season will always have a special place in Whites folklore as it was the kit that Grayson’s men wore when they went to Old Trafford to face Manchester United in the third round of the FA Cup. Given no chance by most, Leeds stunned their rivals by claiming the 1-0 win.
5. Away 1997-99

The yellow and blue design came at a time when Leeds were starting to make their way back up the table on a consistent basis following a few disappointing years that came in the wake of their First Division title in 1992.
4. Home 1994-95

The horizontal stripe across the shirt made this entry one of the more interesting home kits that Leeds have had over the last two decades or so. The fifth place finish and the arrival of Tony Yeboah – though it was during the next campaign where he would score his two most famous goals – has ensured that it will be remembered favourably.
3. Away 2015-16

Sometimes not having a main sponsor on the shirt can put a lot of fans off, but it was arguably the lack of sponsorship on the kits Leeds wore during the 2015-16 season that made them so smart looking. The away shirt looked particularly classy. While it was a largely unspectacular season, the strip was worn for the 3-0 win away at Huddersfield in November 2015.
2. Home 2010-11

Is this the best home kit Leeds have had since 1992? The simplicity was arguably its biggest strength. Though it was worn during the 2010-11 campaign, its most memorable outing came on the final day of the previous season when Jermaine Beckford scored the goal that secured automatic promotion.
1. Away 2000-02

The best kit Leeds have worn since 1992 is arguably the one that O’Leary’s men wore between 2000 and 2002. Their incredible Champions League journey came to an end while wearing the kit as Valencia beat them for a place in the final. But with that season being the last time that the club sat at Europe’s top table, it should maintain a special place in Leeds fans’ hearts.
