Leeds United have been linked with the Liverpool striker.

If rumours are to be believed then Leeds United fans could be seeing Liverpool hitman Danny Ings at Elland Road from January onwards.
The Football Whispers section of ESPN reported that the former Burnley star was being lined up by Leeds ahead of the winter transfer window.
Should that happen then United boss Thomas Christiansen would have something of a dilemma: drop first-choice striker Pierre-Michel Lasogga to facilitate Ings’s up front or modify his formation to allow for two centre-forwards.

With that in mind, it might be worth it if Christiansen were to experiment with his formation occasionally from now until January in an effort to gauge whether a slight change in system would be beneficial if Ings or another marksman came in.
The 44-year-old’s current system only allows for one central striker – Lasogga – but there have been times this season when the German loanee has struggled up top on his own.

The Hamburg hitman has three goals in six games for the Yorkshire side – two of which came in the same match – and at times he could perhaps benefit from having somebody alongside him.
There is no need for Christiansen to dump his current system on the back of a few poor results – after all, Leeds have still had an excellent start – but he should be flexible and perhaps experiment with a Lasogga-Kemar Roofe axis when the situation calls for it.
