Three young strikers Leeds United should target to replicate Bristol City’s success. Tottenham, Arsenal and Chelsea youngsters feature.
Tammy Abraham celebrates after scoring the second goal for Chelsea
At this early stage of the season it appears Bristol City have pulled off one of the coups of the summer by signing Chelsea loanee Tammy Abraham.
The 18-year-old striker has five goals in six games for the Championship side, a scoring rate he would dearly love to keep up all season long.
With just Chris Wood and Marcus Antonsson as out and out strikers, Leeds United are a club short of numbers up front – with the pair scoring five goals combined in all competitions, the same figure Abraham has netted.
Here are three young Premier League strikers the Whites could target to replicate the Chelsea youngster’s success…
Chuba Akpom
Chuba Akpom seemingly needs another loan away from Arsenal to progress his career, with the Gunners recently moving to sign Lucas Perez from Deportivo.

Akpom scored seven times at promoted Hull City last season and needs to do better with his next spell, but his experience at the KC Stadium should stand him in good stead.
The youngster has scored prolifically at youth level for Arsenal and England, and has talent if the right manager can show faith in him to really kick on.
Shayon Harrison
Tottenham Hotspur youngster scored on his first team debut against Inter Milan in pre-season, and is highly rated by the North London club.

Harrison though is stuck behind Harry Kane and Vincent Janssen in the first team queue, and may need to go out on loan to develop in the same way Kane did.
He would be a dynamic player for Leeds to add and give them a different option off the bench, last season scoring nine goals in 13 under-21 games.
Dominic Solanke
Dominic Solanke plays in the same youth teams as Tammy Abraham at Chelsea and many consider him to be more talented.
Dominic Solanke scores for Chelsea
He led England to under-17 European Championship success two years ago, and spent last season on loan at Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem, where he netted seven goals for their first team.
He has slipped down the pecking order at Chelsea due to a contract dispute, and while he picked up a knock in their under-23 game at the weekend, securing a loan deal is key to his development this season.
