Bielsa has proven a huge success and has led Leeds to the top of the Championship.
Ambition should not be criticised. Leeds had it, and Aston Villa are showing it right now too with their pursuit of their managerial targets.
Villa’s new set up with their new owners and chief executive have a combination of money and connections, and that combined with the club’s rich history and reputation makes them an attractive proposition.
Bielsa’s presence in the Championship may even be a talking point to help Villa persuade their chosen Bruce successor to take the job.
