Aside from his strike, his defensive work was much improved.
Dallas has been shunted into a makeshift role at right-back, and it has not been easy for the winger.
His limitations were exposed against West Brom and he was rightfully criticised by supporters.
Manager Marcelo Bielsa did not have many options to replace him, but he could have turned to a youngster, with Jamie Shackleton impressing in the position against Swansea earlier in the season.
The Argentine stuck with Dallas and the 27-year-old has proved him right.
He has helped Leeds to clean sheets against Bristol City and Reading, showing he cannot be regarded as a weak point in the team.
Some of this is on Dallas, and Bielsa and his coaching staff must take credit too.
Last night Dallas made four clearances, more than any Leeds player, and won five tackles. Only Liam Cooper (6) managed more.
