Leeds United and Northern Ireland international star Stuart Dallas is a very versatile footballer.

Dallas is a winger by trade, but under Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa, the Northern Ireland international has also played as a full-back and wing-back.
The 28-year-old is playing at right-back at the moment due to an ankle injury to Luke Ayling, and the former Brentford star – who joined Leeds from the Bees in the summer of 2015 for a transfer fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £1.3 million – has admitted that playing in different positions is not easy, especially given the different styles at the Whites and for the Northern Ireland national football team.
Dallas told The Yorkshire Evening Post: “I am happy with how I am doing. Obviously there’s a still a lot to work on, this is still a new position for me even though I played there last season the majority of the time I was on the pitch but every day I am just learning.
“It’s more difficult when I go to the international team because the two styles are so different. There they are a bit more defensive whereas here Marcelo wants his full backs to bomb on so you have just got to sort of keep the reins on a bit when you go away with Northern Ireland.
“But to adapt to different positions is just natural. I’m maybe not the best at some of the other positions but it’s just natural to do it.”

Stats
Dallas has made two appearances in the Championship for Leeds this season, while during the 2018-19 campaign, the Northern Ireland international made 12 starts and 16 substitute appearances in the league for the Whites, scoring four goals in the process, according to WhoScored.
