Leeds United’s Ronaldo Vieira is a fan of head coach Thomas Christiansen.

Ronaldo Vieira has told The Yorkshire Evening Post that he harbours no animosity toward Leeds United boss Thomas Christiansen for the early-season snubs that came his way – even if he lost a bit of confidence by not playing.
The 19-year-old has been an ever-present figure for Leeds over the past month, starting their last five league games, but the talented midfielder struggled for regular football early on.
Prior to his form now, Vieira was rarely given a starting berth and often found himself omitted from the squad completely in repeated decisions which puzzled Leeds fans, given the promise he showed last term when Garry Monk was in charge.

But the Thorp Arch product is proving his worth to Christiansen now, though insists that he does not blame the 44-year-old head coach for what happened earlier in the campaign.
He told The Yorkshire Evening Post: “I enjoy working with him. Obviously I wasn’t playing at the start but I don’t blame him for that. It’s just what he thinks is best for the team.
“When you’re not playing it’s like your confidence is lost a little bit but when you get into the team, start playing and getting good performances in, the confidence of playing boosts you.
“It’s hard to drop your level.”

Vieira started Sunday’s 2-1 win over Middlesbrough which ended United’s three-match losing streak, and will fancy himself to face Wolves from the start at Molineux tomorrow night.
Christiansen’s side are seventh in the Championship, but level on points with sixth-placed Boro.
