Leeds United fans are excited to see Izzy Brown in action.

Leeds United’s Head of Medicine and Performance Rob Price has told LUTV that Izzy Brown is stepping up his comeback by taking part in all of Marcelo Bielsa’s training sessions.

Leeds secured two loan deals with Chelsea early in the summer as Jamal Blackman and Lewis Baker arrived from the Blues on season-long deals, but their fortunes haven’t been great.

Blackman couldn’t dislodge Bailey Peacock-Farrell as first-choice goalkeeper before returning to Chelsea due to injury, and Baker has been something of a forgotten man in midfield.

Leeds then swooped to land another Chelsea youngster, taking Izzy Brown on loan for the campaign despite knowing that he was still working his way back from a major injury sustained on loan at Brighton last season.

Brown has yet to make a first-team appearance for Leeds as a result, but has been building up to a return by playing for the Under-23’s as he attempts to make an impression in 2019.

Now, Leeds’ Head of Medicine and Performance Price has suggested that Brown is getting involved in all of Bielsa’s training sessions having been reintroduced to training, but admitted that getting used to Leeds’ style is the focus as things at Elland Road are ‘a little bit different’ than what Brown is used to at Chelsea.

“We’re just reintroducing him back into training,” said Price. “He’s getting involved with all of Marcelo’s sessions, and just getting used to the way that we play up here, which is a little bit different for him than at Chelsea,” he addd.
