Leeds United are reportedly interested in Gianluigi Buffon.

Buffon, who is one of the greatest goalkeepers in the world, is a free agent at the moment, having left Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
The former Italy international is 41 years of age, but he seems determined to carry on playing.
There no doubt that Buffon would be an upgrade on Kiko Casilla and Bailey Peacock-Farrell at Leeds, and the Italian would really be an eye-catching signing for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.

However, it is really hard to see a player like Buffon joining Leeds in the Championship.
Not only would the West Yorkshire outfit not be able to meet the 41-year-old’s wage demands, but the goalkeeper also may not find the prospect of playing in the second tier of English football very enticing.
While it is admirable that Leeds are looking at Buffon, it is nothing more than outlandish to expect the Italian to move to Elland Road this summer.
