Raphinha has posted on Instagram ‘happy to be here’, in Brazil training, as the Leeds man edges closer to earning his debut call for his country.
Given the rules that were in place, during the last international break, it prevented the Leeds winger from linking up with his country.
But with those rules now being tweaked, he is now in training with Brazil and in line to make a possible debut, as he posted this four-word message to his supporters.
Raphinha epitomises the the typical Brazilian player of the past, with his flair, unorthodox style and bag of tricks that you just don’t know how it’s going to turn out.
But he does have a level of consistency to his game, which he showcased last season and now during this campaign.
The 24-year-old, in 30 Premier League appearances last season, assisted nine goals and scored six goals, in what was his debut campaign in England’s top-flight.
And despite Leeds’ early struggles this term, he has already found the back of the net on three occasions.
Whilst Kalvin Phillips is the anchor man in the middle of the park for the Whites and the fan favourite because of his affiliation with the club.
Slowly, but surely, Raphinha is becoming the key player for Marcelo Bielsa, because if he works his magic then it’s a good day for Leeds.
Nonetheless, the quick-footed trickster hasn’t joined up with Brazil to make up the numbers and he will be hoping for that all-important debut call during these forthcoming games.
