Leeds United defender says there will be no resignation

Leeds United fans are currently worried about the future of manager Marcelo Bielsa after he called an emergency press conference for 5pm.

The Leeds boss has been in the news since last week after admitting sending an employee to scout Derby County’s training sessions.

The EFL have since launched an investigation into his comments.

Bielsa has a reputation for being unpredictable and one internet outlet claimed he is set to resign.

Leeds defender Pontus Jansson has swiftly shot down the rumours.

It’s unclear if Jansson or anybody at Leeds know exactly what Bielsa is going to say at 5pm – but the defender appears confident his manager is not going anywhere.

Leeds are top of the Championship by four points after last Friday’s 2-0 win over Derby.
