Leeds United have appointed their new academy coach.
Leeds United have filled one of the last gaping omissions on their books, appointing a new academy coach.
The club’s official website confirms Carlos Corberan will take over, and oversee the under-23 team.
Like first team coach Thomas Christiansen, Corberan was recently working in Cyprus, where he was managing first division side Ermis Aradippou – where he went up directly up against his fellow Spaniard last season.
Ermis finished seventh while Christiansen’s APOEL won the title.

Corberan is just 34 and has been working as a coach eight years ago, and has a high profile backer.
He took a job in Saudi Arabia in 2012 with Al Ittihad, and Noticias CV reported at the time that he was personally recommended to the club by then Barcelona boss and current Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola.

Corberan replaces Jason Blunt as Leeds’ academy boss, who left last month.
The under-23s had a disappointing season last year but have been recruiting recently, adding youngsters Alejandro Machuca and Adrian Balboa from Spain, while new addition Madger Gomes and Conor Shaughnessy are currently on tour with the first team squad.
Leeds’ website reports that despite his links with Christiansen, Corberan’s appointment was made by the trio of Ivan Bravo, Victor Orta and academy chief Adam Underwood.
