Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich has told SoccerBible that he is hoping to be fit against Aston Villa, but he is still not certain of playing yet.
Klich injured his back against Southampton, but Marcelo Bielsa said at his press conference today that the Polish international was ‘doing well’.
That has raised hopes that Klich could feature at the weekend.
However, the Leeds man did not sound certain of his involvement when asked this evening in an Instagram question and answer session.
“I’m doing everything to be fit for Saturday. I remember last time we played Aston Villa at home, it was a good game, so hopefully I can play,” he said.
If Klich is fit, he will surely start for Leeds – as he has been so key to Bielsa’s plans.

Klich actually isn’t enjoying his strongest season at Leeds, but his importance to the team is undoubted.
The Whites head into the fixture on the back of a 3-0 win, with their confidence surely high.
If Leeds could beat Villa they would actually above Villa, and could climb up as high as eighth, if other results go in their favour.
