Teemu Pukki guided Norwich City to the Premier League last season and Leeds United will be hoping to follow in their footsteps this term.

Mateusz Klich has claimed that Norwich City striker Teemu Pukki has been his most difficult opponent during his time at Leeds United.
Pukki helped Norwich earn promotion to the Premier League last season by scoring a stunning 29 goals, including netting during a memorable win at Elland Road in February [transfermarkt].
He has since taken that form into the Premier League without any problem by scoring six goals for Daniel Farke’s side – it needs to be remembered that he cost the club nothing because he joined them last summer on a free transfer [Norwich City’s official website].
There’s no doubt that the second-tier of English football is littered with young and vibrant talent, but it was the experienced man, Pukki that Klich picked as his toughest opponent.
“Probably Pukki,” Klich told LUFC’s official YouTube account. “He scored 28 [29] goals. He was great last season, so I would say [Pukki]. It was the first season I played fully, so playing one year in the Championship, I would go with him.”

Leeds will be hoping they can find their own Pukki in the form of either – Patrick Bamford or Eddie Nketiah because if they do then their chances of earning promotion will increase.
It could even be argued that if either one of those players can hit 20+ goals for Marcelo Bielsa’s side then a top-two finish may well be on the cards for Leeds.
At this moment in time, they are sitting top of the Championship table, and their recent draw against Derby County proved that they need a Pukki type player to help them demolish opponents.
