Leeds United’s Marcus Antonsson responds to a question about his future in West Yorkshire.

Marcus Antonsson has told Kvallsposten that he is not thinking about his long-term future at Leeds United yet just.
The 27-year-old striker is doing the business on a season-long loan in League One with Blackburn Rovers, scoring seven times in 15 games for the Ewood Park club.
Leeds boss Thomas Christiansen felt as if he did not need the Swede this season and that seems to be the case, with Pierre-Michel Lassoga and Kemar Roofe proving themselves as useful strikers, while Caleb Ekuban has shown glimpses of his quality since returning from a three-month absence.

Christiansen also has 19-year-old forward Jay-Roy Grot in reserve and it certainly appears as if the Elland Road club are well stocked in regarding to striking options.
But Antonsson remains a popular figure among Leeds fans, many of whom would love to see him succeed in West Yorkshire, but the Swede insists that he is firmly focused on Rovers for now.
He told Kvallsposten when asked about his future with United: “Maybe it’s a boring answer but I have a contract Leeds and I belong to them.

“I’m professional and I’m on loan here and I’m really enjoying it. You can’t wonder where you’ll end up now.”
Antonsson only netted once in 16 Championship games last season, before manager Garry Monk, who spent £2 million on bringing him in from Kalmar accoding to The Yorkshire Evening Post, froze him out of his first-team plans entirely during the second half of the campaign.
