Robbie Gotts is yet to make his senior debut for Leeds United, but he has impressed Marcelo Bielsa.
Gotts has been training with Leeds first-team this season, and has even been included in their match day squads fairly regularly.
However, Bielsa has overlooked the midfielder so far, with Gotts still having to wait for his chance at Leeds.
The 19-year-old has often played at right-back for Leeds development sides.
But, intriguingly, Bielsa appears to see him as midfield option.
And the Argentine boss said: “He’s a number eight. He’s a midfielder not a defensive player or an attacker. He is good at his position. You never see a player who plays with such a dynamic. He has a lot of skills. In this position we have Klich, Forshaw, Shackleton and Dallas. It’s a tough competition. Everyone in the team respects him. I wish to give him minutes one day.”
Goats also earned praise from Adam Forshaw this week, who suggested that he was an exciting talent.
It seems that the teenager is edging closer and closer to his Leeds debut now, but he may still have to wait a while before getting the call.
Leeds are next in action on Saturday, when they are set to take on Queens Park Rangers.
