Leeds United defender Luke Ayling suffered an ankle injury on Monday.

The West Yorkshire outfit played out a goalless draw with Forest at Elland Road in the Championship on Monday afternoon.
With the Reds struggling at the moment, the Whites were expected to pick up all three points from the encounter.

However, Thomas Christiansen’s side failed to breach the Forest citadel and had to settle for a point.
Ayling started the match, but the 26-year-old star had to be substituted on 26 minutes due to an ankle injury.

The former Bristol City star, who can operate as a defender or as a defensive midfielder, has suggested on Instagram that the ankle injury is not serious.
The 26-year-old’s message will surely be welcomed by the Leeds fans, as Ayling is an important player for the team and will be crucial in their quest to finish in the top six of the Championship this season.
