One Leeds United player appeared to have a former club on his mind on Wednesday night.

Kun Temenuzhkov – whom Leeds acquired upon his release by Barcelona last year – added footage of the Catalan giants’ Champions League tie with Inter Milan to his Instagram story.

And whilst under normal circumstances there would be little wrong with that, the fact Leeds were playing Ipswich Town simultaneously may not sit well with some of a Whites persuasion.

Of course, Kun – who is currently away with the Bulgarian Under-19 team – may have had an eye on events at Elland Road, something which is easier than ever to do thanks to the EFL’s iFollow streaming service. Although the forward offered no suggestion that this was in fact the case.

Goals without reply from Kemar Roofe and Liam Cooper were enough to see off Ipswich and send Leeds back to the top of the Championship on goal difference.

And Barca were 2-0 winners themselves, courtesy of Rafinha Alcantara and Jordi Alba.
