According to The Sunday Mirror (print edition, page 66, November 4, 2018), Leeds United striker Kemar Roofe is on the radar of Wolverhampton Wanderers, Crystal Palace and Southampton (click here to read more).

Championship side Leeds have reportedly stalled on a new deal for Roofe, who can also operate as a winger, and Premier League trio Wolves, Palace and Southampton are claimed to be monitoring him.

Leaving a club in the Championship for a team in the Premier League is a step up for any player, but the 25-year-old should ignore the reported interest from the Eagles and the Saints.

Both Palace and Southampton are struggling for survival in the Premier League, and they could end up in the Championship next season.

Leaving promotion-chasing Leeds in the middle of the season for teams scrapping for points in the Premier League would not be a wise idea.

Wolves, though, are a very attractive prospect, and if indeed the Wanderers make an offer, then Roofe should at least consider it.

Nuno’s side are going places, and given how they are doing in the Premier League at the moment, they could well end up in the top six.
