Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips was delighted to see Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish back on the pitch yesterday.
Grealish made his long awaited return from injury in Aston Villa’s 0-0 draw with Everton, as he came off the bench in the final few moments.
Grealish then posted on Instagram, with Leeds midfielder Phillips among the players to write a comment.
Phillips wrote ‘Here he is 😍🔥’ and was joined by a number of other Premier League players in leaving encouraging messages to the playmaker.
Declan Rice, James Maddison and Harry Maguire also left comments, as they were delighted for their England teammate.
Grealish appears to get on very well with Phillips, as they spend a lot of time together on international duty.
The pair look almost certain to go to Euro 2020 with England in the summer, as they have both impressed on recent international breaks.
Grealish’s return was not enough to inspire Villa to victory last night though, as they played out a 0-0 draw with Everton.
That means that Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds side still sit one place above them in the Premier League table.
