Things didn’t go to plan for Izzy Brown during his loan spell at Leeds United last season.

Leeds United’s Kalvin Phillips has told Izzy Brown that it’s his ‘time to shine’ after he made a deadline day move to Luton Town.
The Chelsea academy product was on-loan at Leeds last season, but it is fair to say that the move didn’t work out for the attack-minded player.
In the summer, he returned to his parent club, where after pre-season, they decided he should join newly-promoted Championship side Luton on a season-long loan deal [BBC Sport].
Defensive midfielder Phillips, who trained alongside Brown last season, sent this message to his ex-teammate on his personal Instagram account.

Following his disastrous loan spell at Leeds last season, Brown will be hoping to, at the very least, earn regular game time at his new club as he will be looking to forget that spell and get back to showcasing his true worth.
Following their promotion to the top-tier, Luton started their Championship campaign off in a strong fashion as they recorded a very entertaining 3-3 draw with promotion hopefuls Middlesbrough.
Brown will lock horns with his former club, and Phillips, over the course of the season, with Luton hosting Leeds in November.
Nonetheless, Brown will be hoping he can mirror the performances he produced at Huddersfield for Luton, rather than that spell at Leeds.
