Manchester City-owned Leeds United youngster Jack Harrison has told LUTV that there is more to come from him this season.

Harrison, who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder, has struggled to make a huge impact at Leeds so far this season following his loan move from Premier League outfit City in the summer of 2018.

The 22-year-old has made 14 starts and five substitute appearances in the Championship for the Whites so far this campaign, scoring two goals in the process, according to WhoScored.

The performances of the English youngster – who earns £51,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – have not been great, and Harrison has said that Leeds fans have yet to see the best of him.

Harrison told LUTV about his loan spell at Leeds so far: “It has been really good. I have learnt a lot. It has been challenging at times. I have been grateful for the time that I have had.

“I know I need to improve and I know I can do a lot better still, don’t think I have shown my full potential yet. I am hoping to work on that and keep improving each day and working hard off the pitch.”

Encouraging for Leeds United fans

Harrison is a very talented and promising young attacking player, and the 22-year-old will be important for Leeds in their quest to finish in the top two of the Championship this season.

With Samuel Saiz having left for Getafe on loan in the January transfer window, Leeds need someone to step up, and perhaps Harrison could be that player.
