Should the Leeds United boss consider starting Hadi Sacko against the Royals after the international break?

Leeds United fans saw a familiar face on Sunday.
Hadi Sacko earned his first Championship appearance since the opening day of the season as Leeds went down 3-0 at Sheffield Wednesday yesterday.
As it were, the French winger, who came on with 28 minutes to go, didn’t cover himself in glory but Thomas Christiansen should consider starting him when Reading visit Elland Road on October 14 after the international break.

As he proved last season, the 23-year-old is fiercely inconsistent and not all that productive, having scored twice and set up three goals in 38 league appearances.
One thing that can’t be debated, however, is that Sacko has pace and bags of it and one such quality could and should be worrying Reading right-back Chris Gunter.

The 28-year-old isn’t enjoying his football at the moment and Sacko has the qualities to terrorise him on Saturday week when the Royals come to town.
The former Sporting Lisbon man, used at right-wing last term, is obviously working hard behind the scenes – otherwise he wouldn’t have fought his way back into contention – and a lively afternoon against a struggling defender would do his confidence the world of good.
Egzjan Alioski is a quality footballer but, like Sacko last season, he suffers when it comes to productivity and hasn’t scored or set up a goal in any of Leeds’ last five Championship outings.
It’s time for Christiansen to switch things up again and, tactically, it may make sense for Sacko to start against Jaap Stam’s side.
