Leeds United are eyeing a move for Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths, The Sun [24/5 p72] reported this week.
Griffiths, 26, has been a big success in the Scottish Premiership and has experience playing in England previously with Wolves.
The forward would be a good addition for Leeds to complement Chris Wood, but their hopes of signing Griffiths ultimately rest on his teammate Moussa Dembele.

Dembele scored for fun last season, netting 32 goals in 46 games, displacing Griffiths as an every week starter.
The Frenchman’s form has attracted interest from top Premier League clubs, with The Sun reporting Celtic will be tested by £20 million plus offers from Chelsea and Manchester United.
Celtic may be able to hang onto Dembele this summer, but it’s far from certain.

Griffiths is their insurance, and in the season before Dembele’s arrival, netted 40 goals in all competitions.
Celtic would be mad to let them go, and if Dembele left, Griffiths would not want to depart either, as he would see an opportunity to slot right back in as first choice striker.
Leeds’ best option is trying to get in early, and turn Griffiths’ head. If they leave it too late, Dembele could be sold, and then there would be no chance of getting him.
Celtic may decide though if they are smart, not to sanction any sale for Griffiths until they know Dembele’s plans for next season.
