Leeds United goalkeeper is one of the more unpredictable players in their starting XI.
Leeds United fans have already come to realise that they will have to take the rough with the smooth when it comes to Felix Wiedwald.
That was evident in the Whites 1-1 home draw against Aston Villa on Friday night.
Wiedwald was beaten from distance by Henri Lansbury for Villa’s goal, although there was very little he could do about the substitute’s inch perfect daisy cutter.
The one big save he did make was a fantastic stop from point blank range from Albert Adomah, when it seemed destined the in form Villa winger would score.
Wiedwald closed him down early and blocked the Villa star’s effort with his feet.
It was an excellent save, showing why he is considered Leeds’ number one.
The problem was he followed it up minutes later by flapping at a cross and leaving his goal gaping.
It was reminiscent of his horror against Sheffield Wednesday, although fortunately this time he did not collide with his own defenders, and the Leeds backline managed to clear.
It was a reminder that despite his shot stopping ability, there are big question marks over the German.
As more teams identify this, he will begin to be tested more and more.
He is the best option Leeds have for now, and while he has the tools to be successful, he must fix the weaknesses in his game if he is remain at the club long-term.
