Leeds United have been extremely busy this summer and have made some brilliant additions to their squad.

Leeds United fans would have entered the latest transfer window with some trepidation, but by the time it slammed shut last Thursday they could not contain their happiness.
A total of 16 new signings arrived at Elland Road and many of them look like being big successes, most notably Samu Saiz, Ezgjan Alioski and, on early evidence, Jay-Roy Grot.

Recent additions Pierre-Michel Lasogga and Pawel Cibicki should also click once they have their feet under the table, and such has been the transformation at Leeds that it could be difficult to identify their strongest starting XI for the challenges ahead.
The emergence of Kalvin Phillips and resurgence of Eunan O’Kane means both midfielders step straight into the line-up when fit and available, while Lasogga looks to be the man tasked with replacing former top-scorer Chris Wood.
While the German did not have the best record at Hamburg, he can score regularly when playing week in, week out and it could be a straight fight between him and Kemar Roofe for a starting spot when the domestic action returns next weekend.
The two toughest decisions come at left-back and centre-back, with Gaetano Berardi up against Vurnon Anita and Liam Cooper competing with Matthew Pennington.
Both Berardi and Pennington are currently side-lined, and Cooper looks a different player under new Leeds boss Thomas Christiansen, but when everyone is fit it would be no surprise to see the Swiss defender and the Everton loanee come back into the fold.
With all that in mind here is what we believe to be Leeds’ strongest starting XI when they have a full squad to call on:
