Bailey Peacock-Farrell is the first-choice goalkeeper at Leeds United at the moment.
The 21-year-old goalkeeper made his first-team debut for Leeds back in April 2016, but it was only towards the back-end of last season that the youngster started to play regularly for the West Yorkshire outfit.
The Northern Ireland international made 11 appearances in the Championship last season and has played in all six of Leeds’s league fixtures so far this campaign.
The youngster believes that he is a better player now than he was last season, as he has played regular first-team football.
Peacock-Farrell told The Belfast Telegraph: “Playing games regularly provides confidence, but it’s the experience of having another game and another game, and you’re learning on the job.
“If you’re playing more games then you’re learning faster and you’re learning a lot more. To be doing that regularly, I feel that I am a better player now than I was last season. Hopefully I can maintain that (improvement).”
Rising star
Peacock-Farrell is not the finished article yet, but the Northern Ireland international goalkeeper is a rising star at Leeds.
It is hard to see the 21-year-old lose his place in the West Yorkshire outfit’s starting lineup anytime soon, and working with Bielsa day in and day out is only going to make him a better goalkeeper.
