Daniel James starred for Wales against Slovakia this afternoon.

Wales started their Euro 2020 campaign in style with a 1-0 home win over Slovakia this afternoon, with Daniel James the star of the show.
After narrowly beating Trinidad and Tobago on Wednesday night, Wales started off their campaign with a superb win over Sloavkia today.
Swansea ace James scored the only goal at the Cardiff City Stadium, smashing home a right-footed drive from the edge of the box with a powerful finish.
The 21-year-old was sensational throughout, destroying the Slovakia full backs for pace throughout an electric display, before receiving a standing ovation upon being substituted.
It was another fine outing from the young wide man, and not only will Leeds United wish they had him on their books, but they may now have to worry about him attracting further interest.
As reported by The Yorkshire Evening Post, James was supposed to sign for Leeds on loan on deadline day in January, but the deal was abandoned when Swansea failed to sign off on the deal.

The Mirror claim that Leeds intend to resurrect the deal this summer, and whilst that may still be the case, they will surely face major competition now.
With James starring in the Championship and for his country, whilst being just a year out from his contract expiring, the speedy winger will be just what many Premier League clubs will be looking for.
After today’s display, teams should be scouting James for a summer move, and after being just moments away from signing James in January, it would be little surprise to see Leeds miss out on him this summer to another club.
