Leeds United want Wilfried Gnonto and are now serious about signing the Zurich wonderkid this summer amid links to Feyenoord.
The Whites are very busy this summer even after signing Brenden Aaronson, Rasmus Kristensen and Marc Roca.
Kalvin Phillips left for Manchester City on Monday with teenager Darko Gyabi heading in the opposite direction.
Raphinha is expected to go and Leeds are now chasing deals for midfielder Tyler Adams and winger Luis Sinisterra.
There may be more to come though and Leeds appear to have their sights set on a very exciting talent.
Leeds United want Wilfried Gnonto
Football Manager players will be well aware of Wilfried Gnonto, the Italian teenager currently playing in Switzerland with Zurich.
Gnonto, 18, was in the Inter Milan ranks before heading to Zurich in 2020.
A speedy and diminutive attacker who can play up front or out wide, Gnonto bagged 10 goals and five assists last season.
That was enough to land Gnonto a call-up to the Italian national team and he hit headlines with a goal and an assist in two games against Germany.
Italian journalist Nicolo Schira has now reported that Leeds have ‘come forward’ in the race to sign Gnonto this summer.

Schira claims that talks are open with Zurich and that Leeds are serious about signing Gnonto.
Victor Orta’s love for signing young players may well have put Gnonto on his radar, but whether he would be a first-team or Under-23 player is unclear.
One other interesting note is that Leeds are chasing Sinisterra just as his club, Feyenoord, aim to bring in Gnonto.
Alfredo Pedulla reports that meetings have been held to try and wrap up Gnonto’s signature, possibly with the idea of him replacing Sinisterra.
Yet if Leeds get their own way, they may end up signing both Sinisterra and Gnonto in an exciting double deal.
