Leeds United have joined the race to sign Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie amid strong links with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
Leeds want McKennie
The Sun report that Leeds ware keen to lure McKennie to Elland Road in January.
Marcelo Bielsa seemingly feels he needs running power in midfield and believes McKennie is the man to bring that.
McKennie, 23, is seen as a step up on Mateusz Klich but comes at a price of around £20million.
Add in that McKennie may not be willing to trade Juve for a relegation battle with Leeds and this one looks difficult.
Still, branded ‘relentless’ by Tab Ramos, McKennie has the attributes Bielsa wants and needs if he is to keep Leeds up this season.
Tottenham a contender for McKennie
Leeds signing McKennie would be a coup because of how many other Premier League clubs want to sign him.
The main contender would be Tottenham Hotspur under Antonio Conte.

Calciomercato reported over the summer that Conte wanted McKennie wherever he went, which looked like Tottenham at the time.
Now finally in the Tottenham job, Conte is again keen on McKennie according to Gazzetta Dello Sport.
The Sun noted earlier this season that Aston Villa are interested in McKennie too, with the American international a man in demand.
This race won’t be easy for Leeds to win, but if they can somehow beat Tottenham to McKennie, this could be a huge win for Victor Orta.
