The talented teenage striker was included in the Leeds squad for the first time this week.
Leeds United boss Garry Monk shocked many yesterday when he included 17-year-old striker Mallik Wilks in his matchday squad to face Reading in the Championship.
The teenager has been in good form recently and was rewarded for these performances by the Leeds boss, who handed him a place on the bench ahead of Swedish striker Marcus Antonsson.

It was a positive move from Monk which again showed his belief in the youth system at Leeds.
One man who was obviously pleased at the move was Jason Blunt, the Leeds under-23 coach.
Speaking to BBC Leeds he explained what Leeds fans can come to expect of the talented local lad going forward:
“He excites people. He’s got a bit of bite to him, he’s a character and he is something different.
“He’s raw. He’s got a lot to learn, both tactically & technically, but he’s something different.”
Leeds’ Ronaldo Vieira celebrates scoring their third goal with Kalvin Phillips and Chris Wood
Wilks is undoubtedly a talent to keep an eye on and Leeds fans will hope that their heralded youth system will finally develop a striker of note.
Leeds are thriving this term with young players such as Ronaldo Vieira and Kalvin Phillips heavily involved.
Others, such as Charlie Taylor, Lewis Cook and Sam Byram, have also come out of the Leeds youth-team in recent times and gone on to impress fans of the club – with the latter pair moving on to pastures new.
Hopefully Wilks can go on to have equally as impressive an impact.
