The Whites lost 1-0 to QPR on Tuesday night and some supporters weren’t pleased to see the club ‘banging the drum’ regarding season ticket sales.

As February comes to a close and we prepare to enter March, Leeds United have unfortunately not yet addressed the inconsistency which has beset the second half of their season, having followed up a solid 2-1 win over Bolton Wanderers last weekend with a 1-0 loss at Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday night.
QPR had suffered seven straight Championship defeats ahead of kickoff against the Whites, but Luke Freeman’s neat finish from close range in the 49th minute of the game proved the difference as the visitors failed to pick up the point needed to leapfrog Sheffield United back into the top two.
Now, when it comes to official club communications, there should be a bit of tact and consideration involved following such a result, and as such, you’d think posting about the club’s largest opening week of season ticket sales on record could have waited another day.
On Wednesday afternoon, Leeds posted an article – and shared it on Twitter – about how over 6,000 Leeds season ticket holders had renewed, which is great news, no denying that:
But given how the Whites had fallen to a painful defeat the night before, which leaves them outside the top two, not every fan was in a very celebratory mood:
Leeds will hope to put things right when they face West Bromwich Albion on Friday night.
