Leeds United won against Aston Villa in the Championship on Saturday evening.

Leeds United trio Kemar Roofe, Marcus Antonsson and Pontus Jansson have taken to social networking site Twitter to express their delight at the win against Aston Villa on Saturday evening.

The Whites returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Villa at Elland Road in the Championship.

After a goalless first half, Kemar Roofe broke the deadlock at Elland Road midway through the second half.

Chris Wood wrapped up the points for the home team with the second four minutes into the second half.

Roofe, Antonsson and Jansson have taken to Twitter to express their delight at the win.

While Roofe is pleased to have scored against the Villans, Antonsson and Jansson have praised the Leeds fans.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Elland Road on Saturday evening, hosts Leeds had 55% of the possession, took 10 shots of which four were on target, and earned four corners, according to BBC Sport.

Visitors Villa had 45% of the possession, took 10 shots of which only three were on target, and earned five corners, according to BBC Sport.

Garry Monk’s side are fourth in the Championship table at the moment with 32 points from 19 matches.
