It has been reported that Chelsea are interested in getting a transfer over the line for Leeds United wonderkid Wilfried Gnonto.

The £3.8 million (Daily Mail) man has been a revelation at the Whites since signing for the club in the summer of 2022.

However, it seems like Chelsea have been impressed by Wilfried Gnonto and now are plotting a transfer for him from Leeds United.

Despite being a part of a Leeds side that are currently sitting in 16th place, just two points off the relegation zone, Gnonto has managed to showcase his incredible dribbling and dazzling creativity to the world.

At just 19 years of age, it seems like the former Zurich winger was born to play in the Premier League and is one of the most talented young widemen in world football.

A report has emerged on talkSPORT that claims that Chelsea have a ‘genuine interest’ in completing a summer transfer for Leeds poster-child Wilfried Gnonto.

However, the Blues are not just the only European giants interested in the teenager, with AC Milan and Juventus looking keenly on him making a return to Italy.

Regardless of whether the club survive relegation or not, a player of his calibre is likely to be enticed by a move elsewhere next season.

With Chelsea known to pay the big bucks, especially under Todd Boehly, both Leeds and Wilfried Gnonto may be happy to accept a transfer.

Aside from the London-based club as well, a homecoming to Italy could tempt Gnonto, who had to leave his nation and prove his worth at Zurich to attract interest from the Whites in the first place.

Unfortunately, clubs like Leeds are selling clubs and once they sign a gem like Gnonto, they bid farewell to them sooner rather than later.
