Leeds United have completed a number of deals during the January transfer window, but could be busy on the final day of business.

Aamo Halpe, Laurens De Bock, Adam Forshaw and Yosuke Ideguchi have all been signed, but with more new faces wanted, here are some of the main names to keep an eye on during the final day of the January transfer window.

Tyler Roberts

West Bromwich Albion forward Roberts has been the subject of interest during the transfer window, given that his contract expires this summer, and Leeds now appear to have won the race for the 19-year-old striker.

The Yorkshire Evening Post report that Leeds are on the verge of sealing a £2.5million deal for Roberts, landing the Welsh youth international after his strong displays on loan for Walsall this season.

Jerry Mbakogu

Another striker wanted by Leeds is Carpi’s Jerry Mbakogu, who has hit eight goals in 20 games for the Serie B side this season, sparking interest from the Whites – but he is unlikely to arrive before tonight’s deadline.

It’s claimed by the Yorkshire Evening Post that a £3.5million deal for Mbakogu is close, though concerns linger of his work permit eligibility, and there is a belief that the 25-year-old would only join at the end of the season rather than immediately.

Emiliano Martinez

Leeds have seen summer signings Felix Wiedwald and Andy Lonergan fail to impress between the sticks this season, and AS in Argentina report that Leeds now want to sign goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez from Arsenal – but so do Celtic.

The 25-year-old Argentine is currently on loan at Getafe in Spain, but he could be recalled in order to play more first-team football elsewhere, with Leeds now seemingly hoping to push through a deal today.

Andy Lonergan

Tied into Leeds’ interest in Martinez is the future of summer signing Lonergan, who could be set to leave Elland Road for the second time in his career, with a move to Championship rivals Sunderland close.

The Northern Echo report that a deal between the two clubs has been agreed, and Lonergan is set to join the Black Cats before the deadline, leaving Leeds needing another goalkeeper to challenge Wiedwald.
