Leeds United and Tottenham Hotspur target Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has told his club Rubin Kazan that he wants to leave, according to Il Mattino.

The report in the Italian news outlet has claimed that Leeds, Tottenham, Dinamo Batumi, Napoli and AC Milan all are interested in signing Kvaratskhelia.

The 21-year-old winger wants to move to FC Dinamo Batumi now until the end of the season when he would be able to make a permanent move away from Rubin Kazan.

Il Mattino have suggested that Leeds and Tottenham are leading the race for the Georgia international.

The report claims that Kvaratskhelia has told Rubin Kazan that he does not want to return to Russia after the ongoing international break.

Earlier in the week, Gazzetta dello Sport reported interest in the 21-year-old from Napoli and Leeds, adding that the Premier League club have already moved for him.

The Italian publication added that Kvaratskhelia will cost €15 million (£12.49 million) in transfer fees.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia boost for Leads and Tottenham

In our opinion, Kvaratskhelia reportedly telling Rubin Kazan is a positive for Leeds and Tottenham.

Leeds and Tottenham may not be able to sign the 21-year-old winger right now, but they could be able to secure his services in the summer of 2022.

Kvaratskhelia has made 17 starts and two substitute appearances in the Russian Premier League this season.

The Georgia international winger has scored two goals and gave four assists in the league.
