Leeds United should confirm the Spaniard’s arrival today, according to the head coach.
Thomas Christiansen has told TV Yorkshire that Samu Saiz will complete his move to Leeds United today.
Leeds announced that they had agreed a deal with Spanish side Huesca for his signature earlier this week.
The Yorkshire Evening Post reported on Wednesday that he was undergoing a medical with the Elland Road club, and head coach Christiansen told TV Yorkshire yesterday that his move to the Whites will potentially be finalised this morning.

Speaking on Wednesday, he said: “Samu, perhaps tomorrow [he will sign]. He did his medical so if everything went well perhaps tomorrow morning he will sign definitively.”
The Spanish attacker, 26, will be Leeds’ eighth summer signing if and when it is official, following Mateusz Klich, Madger Gomes, Felix Wiedwald, Vurnon Anita and Caleb Ekuban to Yorkshire, while Hadi Sacko and Pontus Jansson completed permanent switches.
These are exciting times for United and fans of the Yorkshire giants will be hoping to see Christiansen and co improve on their 2016-17 campaign under Garry Monk.
Monk’s side finished seventh in the Championship last term after picking up just one victory from their last eight games, a run of form which derailed their playoff bid.
Leeds get the new campaign underway in a little less than a month when they visit Bolton Wanderers in August 6.
