Leeds United are reportedly eyeing Hosam Aiesh.

Leeds United have sent scouts to check out Ostersunds winger Hosam Aiesh in recent weeks, Swedish outlet Fotboll Direkt reported over the weekend.

Aiesh provided 15 assists in 2018, and even scored in the Europa League against Arsenal.

Leeds’ chances of a move are aided by Aiesh’s desire to leave Sweden.

The Goteborg born winger is keen to test himself abroad, and told the Ostersunds chairman this in January.

He told Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet: “Me and Daniel Kindberg have talked and he knows that I would rather leave. So we hope that something comes in.

“It is not me who decides my price. It is the clubs and the market. The most important thing is that I perform as a player, and if I remain, I continue to perform.”

No satisfactory bids came for Aiesh in January, and he has had a tricky time since.

The 24-year-old has missed time with injury and played only seven times in 2019.

The winger has still managed to score once and provide seven assists, but Leeds might want to see a bit more before making on offer. If they do, Aiesh almost certainly won’t say no.
